Posted by Bobby on June 17th, 2010 Life is so unpredictable and there are times when it gets rough. I never thought that I would sell diamonds just to be able to cope with it. It is hard of course, because those were special. My boyfriend gave them to me before he left and went to Hong Kong. We have lost all communications, after two months since he left. A year has passed and he still hadn’t contacted me in any means possible, through mail, text messages or even phone calls. I guess it means that the dream is over and it’s time to move on with my life.
A friend told me about this website that buys gold, diamonds and other valuable stones. I decided to sell engagement ring, it has a lot of memories in it, which makes it harder. But, I have to let it go. After a few days I received a check and was surprised at the amount that is written on it. I didn’t know that my engagement ring costs that much. It was totally unexpected. With the money in hand, I plan to open a small business that will help me take my mind off things. I would still think of him from time to time, but being busy would definitely help me forget.
Posted by Bobby on June 8th, 2010 I had a friend who was so insecure with his ADD. I told him that he shouldn’t feel that way for it was actually normal. It was true that it was funny sometimes that he kept on changing the subject but I didn’t really care. It was enough that he had ADD but if you mix it with his lack of confidence then he will really have down moments often.
I tried to think of a way for him to just loosen up. He needed to just laugh the problem away. So I purchased this really funny t shirt from a t shirts website that says “They tell me that I have ADD. They just don’t underst… Hey look a chicken!” It was incredibly funny and I knew that my friend would appreciate the gift a lot. He loved a good joke every now and then.
So I gave him the gift and just as I expected, he loved it so much. He wears it almost 3 times a week. He even washes them the night after he used it. So I told him to just visit the funny t shirts site for there were so many designs to choose from, you would actually need two days to pick your favorite. He visited the site and after that got about 5 shirts that he loved. Those shirts were his confidence boosters. Thanks to the shirts, his insecurity has been long gone!
Posted by Bobby on June 7th, 2010 I’ve been thinking of getting an HP Disk Storage for our faculty room. Arranging files are too much of a hassle. It takes a lot of work and if by chance there is a missing file, all hell breaks loose. With that in mind, I looked for a Used HP Disk Storage device that I could buy for a reasonable price.
A friend helped me find the place, I was greeted properly and was shown several options that I can choose from. I bought it right away and asked my co-workers how to use it. At first they were skeptical, but in time they got used to it. They were so engrossed into what they were working on, that the talk was minimal and work was fast.
Since that day we never had any problems in organizing our files. They were amazed that I came up with the idea. They say it’s very convenient and easy to use. With files being updated by their rightful owners and everyone has easy access to the files they needed, our workplace became a smooth working environment. No more yelling, no more stressful days. I’m glad that I had the right tool, for the right job.
Posted by Bobby on June 3rd, 2010 Do you have 8 karat and 10 karat gold jewelry that you thought didn’t have any value at all? Do not toss it away; that is money! You can sell gold jewelry even if it is of a low gold content because this gold and diamond jewelry store is eager to take it off your hands if you don’t want it anymore. It can even be dented and old - it’s ok. As long as it is gold, it is good as cash.
I really like this website I found recently. It offers such a unique service and the pay-off is great. While other store you sell wedding ring to or any type of gold jewelry will give $100, this company will offer you $300. That is true and I have proven it myself. I sold my old ring to them and I got 3 times of how much I originally bought it for. Big money!
I had to sell my ring because of my sister. She was going off to college and I wanted to give her one semester worth of tuition. No regrets on my pants since money is not and will never be equal to education. I believe that I got the best worth for my ring - and that is giving my sister a privilege to study. But then, I would never have done it without your help. So, thank you!
Posted by Bobby on April 26th, 2010 For years, I have been giving all of my kids clothes away to family members that have kids that are younger than my own. I found the cutest infant pajamas on sale shortly after my daughter was born and bought about seven different pairs of them. Since she outgrew them before she could wear them all, I decided to give them to my sister in law for her new baby. She loved the infant pajamas and my niece got a lot more wear out of them than my daughter.
I now take all of the girls pajamas that my girls grow out of and give them to my niece. She is always excited to get in the bag and see what things I have brought her. I always make sure that the items are clean because she will take out the girls pajamas and put them right on, for bed.
Posted by Bobby on April 14th, 2010 The Chicago siding company that is across the street is always busy. It seems that they are always heading off to do a job and it looks like they have at least four crews. That is a lot of people putting up siding and installing windows.
I know a guy who called this particular Chicago siding company and he hired them to put new siding on his house and to install vinyl replacement windows too. I guess that they did a really good job, because he told me that if I ever need any work done on my house like they do, I should call them first. He said that they are not the cheapest company out there, but they are really the best.
I had been thinking about vinyl replacement windows, since the Chicago winters are so brutal but I am not sure if I should wait till the fall or have it done this spring. I want the temperature to be above at least sixty, if all the windows are going to be ripped from my house.
I am going to give it a few more weeks and see if spring is really here to stay until I even ask for an estimate.
Posted by Bobby on April 5th, 2010 I paid the bill for the search marketing Raleigh NC company last week and now they are calling and saying that they did not receive it and they are adding late fees onto it. I know that I mailed it, because I had to take it with me to the post office and buy stamps so that I could do just that. I asked the woman on the other end of the phone from the search marketing Raleigh NC company if she could just wait a couple more days to see if it showed up before adding late fees. She agreed to wait and I hoped that it did not get lost somewhere.
I remember something else like this happening about a year ago, when I sent out the mail and it did not make it to its proper destinations for two weeks. There was a payment in it for our online marketing service Raleigh company and they were very nice about the whole thing. I am glad, because the check for the online marketing service Raleigh company was for over two thousand dollars and they had every right to wonder where their money was. Thankfully, it did get delivered but it was directed through New York and then back to Raleigh.
Posted by Bobby on March 22nd, 2010 At my twenty year class reunion that I went to last fall, I found out that one of my old boyfriends owns and operates a website design company that I have heard of. In fact, my boss considered using them when we were looking to revamp our current site. The only reason that he did not hire them is because his son in law started working for a Phoenix website design company.
I am the one who is in charge of almost ninety percent of everything that has to do with our company website and I cannot believe how close I came to working with my old boyfriend. It would have been nice to see him and catch up, since neither of us are married, it might have rekindled some old feelings.
I refrained from telling him about the fact that we had looked at his website design company but went a different direction. I did not want to make him feel like I did not like his company or something. Besides, I did not get to make the final decision.
I try and imagine what could have happened had the boss’s son in law not started working for that Phoenix website design company. It is better not to think about what could have been and just look toward the future.
Posted by Bobby on February 25th, 2010 The gold buyers that keep advertising that they are going to be at the local flea market this week, have really gone all out. I have seen two billboards, several commercials on television, flyers in windows, and spots on some local websites that give you the date and time of when they will be available for the public.
I know that gold is at an all time high, not sure about silver but if you are getting rid of some old gold pieces then you might as well get rid of the silver too. I have two friends who go to garage sales and buy up old gold necklaces that are just broken or ugly and then sell gold jewelry online. I do not think that they are going to get rich off of it but if you add up a bunch of gold necklaces that only cost you a couple of bucks. You might be able to triple that when you sell gold jewelry that no one else wants online.
I think that I might just head to the flea market to watch some of the people who are coming to sell to the gold buyers and see if they actually get any money for the amount of pieces that they sell. It might make me a believe, or make me think that it is just not worth standing in line for a couple of dollars.
Posted by Bobby on February 22nd, 2010 The kitchen remodeling Tampa Fl contractor just informed me that my kitchen will not be done when we thought it would. We signed a contract with them that said for a certain amount of money, we would have our kitchen complete in four weeks. I did add a clause in the contract and the kitchen remodeling Tampa Fl contractors signed it that said for every day they went over the deadline, I would receive fifty dollars of the money I paid them back.
I know that that most remodelers in Tampa would never have wanted to sign it but since this one did, I really thought that they must be quite confident in their ability to get jobs done on time. We knew that the deadline was going to be tight since they had to start with ripping all the old aspects of the kitchen out and then putting new ones in. The new drywall and electrical was probably the most time consuming part of the project and they finished that in less than a week.
I was actually thinking that these must be the best remodelers in Tampa since they were making such good progress. I think that when they had trouble with the cabinets they ordered not fitting properly; it started the slowdown in work. Hopefully, it will not be too much past the deadline that they finish up.
